You can't help reshape a field without respecting its rules.
Before evidence, everything else is just... an opinion. 😉
That's why clinical research isn't an add-on at Boli.
It's the reason we built things the way we did.
Boli is a CE-marked digital medical device for people on anti-obesity medications, between consultations.
From day one, it was also designed to serve research - in three concrete ways.
→ 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸
PROs, adherence, tolerance, behaviour, cardiometabolic signals - captured to clinical standards, longitudinal, multi-country.
Ready to support future academic projects, with the right governance.
→ 𝗔 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀
An ad hoc tool for prospective work, cohorts, real-world analyses - no infrastructure to rebuild for each protocol.
→ 𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲
Two goals: HTA-grade evidence for Boli, and contributing to the broader proof that digital care belongs in obesity and cardiometabolic care pathways.
That programme is complete by design - 11 Boli-led studies by now: commentaries, surveys, feasibility work, mechanistic analyses, large decentralized cohorts capturing real life at scale, health economics, and a multicenter pivotal RCT.
Each study answers a different question.
We've worked on these topics before. 15+ years in regulated digital health, several DTx already deployed, hands-on experience in clinical research and market access.
Restarting from a blank page - with that experience, and the tools available in 2026 - is what we find exciting about Boli.
We don't pretend to have all the answers. If you're designing a protocol, running a cohort, or exploring an academic collaboration in obesity or cardiometabolic health, we'd be glad to hear from you.
